TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position within our Mossville, IL team. The current pay range for this first shift position is $18-$20 per hour. 

Overall Purpose

Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the HT Material Handler completes in a timely manner all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required.

Reports To

Direct: Shift Supervisor and Site Manager    Indirect : Area Manager/ Director of Operations

Responsibilities

  • Sort material as needed
  • Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork
  • Perform record and time keeping activities as required
  • Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required
  • Use power and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment
  • Safely move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Operate a forklift for extended periods while following all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
  • Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area
  • Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

  • Ability to learn, understand, and follow work instructions and safety procedures
  • Operating-level proficiency using personal and laptop computers
  • Capable of accurately maintaining records and timekeeping documentation
  • Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) certification or ability to obtain certification through TRIGO HT
  • Demonstrated competency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Demonstrated competency in operating power and hand tools
