Family Nurse Practitioner

Position Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Location: Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility

Position Type :Full-Time Contract (2080 hours per year)

Job Tasks:

• Examine patients and ask about their symptoms.

• Diagnose common illnesses and health problems.

• Prescribe medications when needed.

• Order and review lab tests and medical exams.

• Treat minor injuries and illnesses.

• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

• Provide vaccinations and routine health screenings.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Certification:

Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Active Nurse Practitioner license

Other Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• DEA license if prescribing controlled medications
