Summary/Objective 
The Center Director will direct all center activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations for patient flow, patient care, and quality assurance.

Essential Functions of a Center Director:

  • Manage staff and direct all staff activities including coordinating schedules and breaks, providing training and guidance, reviewing and approving bi-weekly timecards, conducting performance evaluations, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and administer procedures and best practices to streamline processes for center operations.
  • Provide ongoing training to staff to ensure that productivity and knowledge of the overall process are maintained and improved.
  • Manage and utilize staff to their fullest potential by motivating and challenging them to achieve results while offering developmental and educational opportunities to progress within the company.
  • Interview and hire candidates for open staff positions including technologist and office assistants.
  • Attend and participate in operations/manager meetings.
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of the equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain the center's budget by cost management and increase revenue through effective cash management.
  • Participate in and/or lead various projects as identified by management to support operations and quality patient care.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, and sitting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Some travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or combination of education and experience.

High proficiency of PC systems, tools, and applications.
