We’re partnering with a well-established, publicly traded community bank (~$500M in assets) to identify a Chief Financial Officer. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key partner in driving the bank’s financial strategy and performance.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance leader within banking who wants to step into a true #2 position and play a central role in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
Oversee regulatory reporting, including Call Reports and audit processes
Partner with executive leadership and the Board on financial strategy
Manage liquidity, capital planning, and balance sheet strategy
Participate in ALCO and provide insight into interest rate risk and NIM
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal controls

What They’re Looking For:

Experience within a bank or financial institution (required)
Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting (Call Reports highly preferred)
Experience interacting with regulators (FDIC, OCC, or Federal Reserve)
Background in liquidity management, capital planning, and loan/deposit mix
Proven leadership experience within accounting/finance
CPA is a plus, but not required
