Job DetailsJob Location: CHINO, CA 91710Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $27.00 - $30.00 HourlyJob Category: AccountingJob Summary  The Finance & Accounting Associate will support financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, general ledger activities, accounts payable, cash processing, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business operations and management decision-making. Support manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory transactions, production reporting, cost analysis, and manufacturing variance analysis. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely. Support daily cash receipts, cash application, and bank reconciliations. Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Partner with operations, purchasing, and production teams to ensure accurate financial information. Maintain and promote a strong internal control environment by adhering to established accounting policies, financial procedures, and company controls. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data while supporting compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and controls, contributing to continuous improvement and sound financial stewardship Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness. Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is a plus. Exposure to manufacturing accounting or cost accounting is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with ERP systems is a plus  Required Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis. Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and consistently meet deadlines. Demonstrated aptitude for learning new systems, technologies, and business processes. Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.  Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the flexible packaging or related manufacturing industry. Familiarity with inventory accounting, production reporting, manufacturing cost structures, and variance analysis.
