Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our growing manufacturing team! Are you ready to make a difference?
Our Forklift Operators Schedule:
·1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm
· Starting hourly wage is $22.75. An additional $1.50 hourly shift differential is applied while working on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Our Forklift Operators are Responsible For:
· Loading product for customer pick-up and prepares Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, and Federal Express Deliveries for shipment.
· Operating industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, while checking for proper material and count quality.
· Following Great Northern's quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day.
· Changing LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharges electric forklift as needed.
· Shrink-wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping.
· Regular and reliable attendance.
· Other duties as assigned
Our Forklift Operators Will Possess:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· 1 to 3 years of related manufacturing or machine operating experience
· Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide and correctly read a tape measure
· Ability to meet product specifications and quality standards of our Customers and Great Northern – CF
· A strong understanding of the importance of safety
· A team player who is driven to learn every day
