Job DetailsJob Location: Chisholm, MN 55719Salary Range: $18.25 - $18.25 HourlyPosition Summary: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties performing routine building and facilities maintenance of all Range Center, Inc. properties under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and Safety. This includes, but is not limited to general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, plowing, landscaping, heating and cooling, pool monitoring and maintenance, as well as other building systems. Responsible to: Director of Maintenance and Safety Status: Hourly, Full-time Responsibilities: Embrace and model Range Center, Inc.’s Mission and Philosophies. Competently abide by and model all Range Center, Inc. Policies and Procedures. Adhere to standards of OSHA, Globally Harmonized System (GHS), and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and Safety, keep each facility in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and Range Center, Inc. policies regarding maintenance and safety. Using established procedures and routines, participate in the overall maintenance of Range Center, Inc. buildings, equipment, and grounds. Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Identifying and repairing potential safety hazards. Demonstrate competency of boiler systems and pool filtration systems. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues. Participate in the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance plans for each facility. Perform seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance work such as: snow plowing, snow blowing, shoveling, de-icing lawn mowing, landscaping, raking Assist Director of Maintenance and Safety to plan and execute major building repairs and Longterm replacement of furnishings and equipment. Recommend to the Director of Maintenance and Safety necessary revisions to Range Center, Inc. maintenance policy and/or procedures. Completion of applicable in-service training annually as required by licensing agencies. QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred technical (2-year) degree in trades work. At least 2 years’ of experience in the maintenance field OR a certificate of completion from a maintenance training program of at least 45 credit hours from an accredited technical college (or comparable program). Certified Pool Operators License or ability to obtain within 6 month of employment. MN Boiler Operators license or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Maintain professional relationships by upholding strict confidentially of all issues. Demonstrate a strong command of the English language and articulation, phone etiquette, and organizational skills. Ability to build strong partnerships and work closely with others. Ability to be self-directed and work without close supervision. Ability to prioritize and handle detailed work to meet deadlines. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all phases of maintenance; including, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry work, power equipment use, and lawn/landscaping care. Demonstrate awareness of applicable rules and regulations specific to the licenses required and/or held by the organization. Possess valid MN driver license with good driving record. Successful Rule 11 (criminal background check). Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: Ability to lift weight unassisted (minimum 65 pounds). Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces. Prolonged periods of standing or walking. Possibility of working in extreme temperatures, high noise levels requiring hearing protection Working around chemicals such as pool chemicals, cleaning fluids, lubricants, paint, etc.
