CDL Truck Driver

Job DetailsJob Location: Christiansburg, VA 24073SHAH Development, LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a dump truck, transporting equipment using a day cab truck and trailer, and occasionally operating small equipment on job sites. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment supporting construction or site work operations. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to and from job sites. Transport equipment using a day cab truck and trailer. Load, secure, and unload equipment in accordance with safety standards. Operate small equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, or compactors as needed. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inspection reports. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Assist with general site work when driving duties are complete. Communicate effectively with supervisors, and job site personnel. Requirements: Valid CDL with clean driving record. Experience operating dump trucks and hauling equipment preferred. Ability to safely operate or willingness to learn small construction equipment. Knowledge of proper load securement and trailer operations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job tasks as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in construction, excavation, or site development. Familiarity with skid steers, mini excavators, or other compact equipment. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment checks. Benefits: Pay Range: $30-$35/ hr. Comprehensive benefits package EEO
