JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Café Cashier/F&B Attendant II POSITION #: 2103303
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions.
Receives cash bank from the Cage, Sets up drawer.
Counts bank at end of the night. Collects cash, comps, coupons, and money orders and makes change for cash transactions.
Responsibilities may include greeting guest, and answering the phone.
TASKS:
1. Responsible for all cash transactions at beginning and end of shift.
2. Greets guests as they enter and exit.
3. Verifies all coupons, comps for dates and verifies comps.
4. Prepares baked goods, washes baking utensils, sets up salad bar.
5. Removes trash from Café
6. Other tasks as assigned by Food & Beverage Supervisor or Manager.
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED: High School graduate or GED. Must possess a valid VI food handler’s card. Must be able to speak and understand primary language(s) used by the guest who typically visit the work location.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: Stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Must have ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours in length, be able to bend and stoop on occasion.
HAZARDS: Includes, but are not limited to: back strain, high noise levels, exposure to crowds.
