Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse - Full Time in Luckey, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution center, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting access control and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution center buildings, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Observe warehouse and retail distribution operations for security-related irregularities, property damage, or hazardous conditions and communicate findings according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
