About Community Interface Services

Community Interface Services (CIS) is a nonprofit organization that has empowered adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. Our mission is to provide individualized, community-based services that support independence, employment, housing, community living, and personal growth.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work one-on-one with individuals to help them achieve their unique goals. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals in developing workplace and employment skills
  • Assisting with independent living and life skills development
  • Facilitating participation in social, recreational, and community activities
  • Helping individuals pursue educational and career opportunities
  • Encouraging community engagement and inclusion
  • Providing person-centered support tailored to individual goals and interests

This position serves individuals throughout the South Bay/Chula Vista areas. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
  • Reliable vehicle in safe working condition
  • Current vehicle insurance
