About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at LA CONCHA BAKERY as a Cake Decorator, where your creativity will shine! You'll craft stunning cakes that delight our customers and bring joy to their special occasions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, ensuring each creation meets our high standards.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to develop seasonal and themed cake designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of decorating supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by customizing cakes to meet client specifications.
- Stay updated on cake decorating trends and techniques to enhance our offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a similar role within a bakery environment.
- Strong artistic skills and a keen eye for detail in cake design and decoration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of various cake decorating techniques and tools.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Be able to carry up to 50lbs.Â
