Quality Technician I: Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Read blueprints and specifications
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
  • Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
  • Accept or reject finished items
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Ability to use CMM Calypso Software
  • Shift: 3rd (11:00-7:15) / Overtime when needed, but not mandatory

Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED, relevant post-secondary, trade, preferred
  • 1 year Quality Inspection or Machining experience.
  • Shop Math (QT II only)
