This role offers the opportunity to become an integral member of a collaborative student support team. You'll work alongside educators, families, and school leaders to remove barriers to learning by providing counseling services, behavioral support, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination. Your work will have a direct impact on creating a positive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program and possess an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement, or be eligible to obtain appropriate state credentials before employment. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to advocating for students and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
