Position Overview

Inabia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its Rehab Therapy team in Cimarron, Kansas. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a supportive rehab setting.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, organized, and comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication, cognition, and safe swallowing

  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed

  • Document evaluations, daily treatments, and discharge summaries accurately and timely

  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards

Schedule

  • Schedule: 5 × 8-hour day shifts

  • Consistent weekday daytime hours

Qualifications

  • Active Kansas SLP license

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • CCC-SLP preferred

  • Rehab or SNF experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
