Adjunct Instructor of History‌
Xavier University is seeking qualified candidates to join our pool of potential adjunct faculty for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. This posting is intended to collect applications forpart-time, non-tenure-track position for an Adjunct Instructor of History.
Candidates must be dedicated to graduate or undergraduate teaching and demonstrate excellence in their field. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis, and candidates may be contacted as teaching needs arise. Adjunct faculty contracts are issued on a semester-by-semester basis, depending on departmental needs and student enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications:
·      MA in History
Duties include:
·      designing history course that meets department requirements
·      providing in-class instruction
·      using Canvas (Learning Management System)
·      grading assignments and providing student feedback
