Purpose:

The Carpentry Technician will provide technical expertise in the evaluation and renovation of investment properties. This position will assist Brighton Properties with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Use creative problem-solving during property walkthroughs to identify good investment opportunities and a critical eye for spotting structural defects.
Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project.
Attend building inspections.
Basic ability to read blueprints and assist in mapping out daily project tasks.
Ability to follow local, state, and federal laws for safety and compliance.

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishing)
Knowledge of architectural blueprints
Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $51,000 - $53,000.
