Laser Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our small metal fabrication team. This position involves operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to ensure precision and quality in metal part production. The ideal candidate will work with technical drawings and ensure products meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up laser cutting machines to process metal parts according to specifications.
• Review technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate cuts.
• Perform quality inspections on cut parts using measuring tools.
• Maintain and perform basic maintenance on laser equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist with material handling and organization of cut parts.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating laser cutting machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills.
