The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting purchasing, planning, and financial performance through the management of open-to-buy budgets, data analysis, and reporting. This role uses data-driven insights to support efficient supply chain operations and ensure effective purchasing decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and monitor Open-to-Buy budgets by category
- Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and financial targets to recommend OTB adjustments
- Track actual spend vs. plan and identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with buyers and planners to align purchasing decisions with OTB constraints
- Support purchasing decisions through data-driven insights
- Identify overstock and stockout risks and recommend corrective actions
- Create and maintain recurring reports (weekly, monthly, seasonal) on sales, inventory, and OTB performance
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MS suite of products)
- Ability to work with large datasets and generate actionable insights
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
