Campus Based Clinical Supervisor

About the Role

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Campus Based Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative supervision to behavioral health staff working in campus-based school settings. This role also carries a small clinical caseload and plays a key part in ensuring high‑quality, trauma‑informed services for students and families.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience working with children and families
  • LPCC, LMFT, or LISW required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications
  • Strong documentation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

- Supervision

  • Provide day‑to‑day oversight of individual, family, and group counseling, psychotherapy, and CPST services delivered by campus-based behavioral health staff.
  • Ensure in‑kind health and mental health services are provided to assigned schools based on student and school needs.
  • Deliver weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision in accordance with ODMH, COA, and agency guidelines.
  • Support staff with intervention needs, promote ethical practice, and foster a positive work climate.
  • Participate in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing behavioral health staff.
  • Provide new employee orientation and ongoing training to ensure clinical competence and compliance.

- Administration

  • Provide administrative supervision and ensure compliance with all service, operational, and regulatory standards.
  • Review client charts regularly to ensure adherence to ODMH, COA, and financial auditing requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation from all direct service providers.
  • Support staff with time management, caseload management, and administrative expectations.

- Internal & External Collaboration

  • Maintain strong professional relationships within the program, department, and agency.
  • Promote effective communication and customer service internally and externally.
  • Ensure staff collaborate with other provider agencies and systems on behalf of clients and families.

- Direct Client Service

  • Maintain a small caseload providing assessment, BHC, and/or CPST services.
  • Evaluate client progress at required intervals and develop transition plans for discharge.

- Quality Assurance

  • Ensure high‑quality service delivery based on best practice and trauma‑informed models.
  • Identify and address quality challenges within the program area.
  • Support performance improvement activities and ensure staff attend required trainings.

- Fiscal Responsibility

  • Assist with annual budget development.
  • Support staff in understanding fiscal targets, revenue generation, and expense control.
  • Help staff manage caseloads to meet or exceed productivity expectations.
  • Assist with program development and expansion efforts.

- Other duties as assigned


Work Environment:

Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids. May be exposed to unclean environments and unfamiliar areas of town.
