CUSTODIAN

POSITION SUMMARY 

Performs detailed cleaning of all office areas, general walkways and common areas within the facility. May be tasked to run general errands or to pick up needed supplies.  Works harmoniously with management, co-workers, and customers to ensure that the customer receives a best-in-class repair experience.  

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES 

 • Cleans all interior surfaces as needed. • Sanitizes restrooms and break room service areas (sinks, counters and coffee stations). • Follows a set task list for specific cleaning needs like Sanitizing all handles, door knobs and desk phones • Notifies supervisor of any building maintenance needs that are noticed or observed • Informs supervisor when issues arise or facility abuse is present • May run general errands • Communicates with co-workers, management, and customers in a professional and positive manner. • Presents one’s self with a professional appearance, supports safe working habits, and complies with all company policies. • Foster teamwork within the department and with all other departments throughout the dealership. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE 

 • Reports to the branch manager / department manager or designee 

 QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

 • Experience with the operation of general cleaning equipment 

 REQUIRED SKILLS 

 • Ability to take directions in a fast-paced work environment • Stays focused on and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner • Customer friendly appearance and mannerism • Represent the company in a professional manner
