   The Electrical Engineer is responsible for contributing to the design, development, testing, and documentation of electrical systems and components for innovative, regulated medical products. This role supports cross‑ functional product development efforts by applying standard engineering practices, executing structured testing, and ensuring compliance with design control and regulatory requirements.Â

This position reports to the Electrical and Software Engineering Manager and is part of the Engineering team, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be an on‑site role.Â
Â
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Â
Design, test, and debug electrical hardware and embedded systems under general supervisionÂ
Create schematics, support PCB layout reviews, and participate in prototype buildsÂ
Execute structured electrical testing and document results, design updates, and technical decisionsÂ
Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycleÂ
Apply design control, risk management, and documentation practices in compliance with regulatory standardsÂ
Â
The essential requirements of the job include:Â Â
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldÂ
2+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, including circuit design and troubleshootingÂ
Hands‑on experience using EDA tools such as SPICE, Altium Designer, or equivalent softwareÂ
Experience working with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and standard communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)Â
Experience supporting product development activities in a regulated or documented design environmentÂ
Â
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Â if applicable for roleÂ
Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional domestic and international travelÂ
Ability to work in office, laboratory, clean room, and manufacturing environmentsÂ
Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift equipment while working with laboratory and test equipmentÂ
Â
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Â
Medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated product development environmentsÂ
Supporting verification, validation, or regulatory submission documentationÂ
Prior experience with C or C++

The annual salary range for this role is $88,000 - $102,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.Â
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.Â
