About the Position

The Expedited Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in managing time sensitive shipments, coordinating carriers, and delivering exceptional service to customers with urgent transportation needs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced decision making, building relationships, solving problems quickly, and ensuring critical freight arrives on time.

Your Role: Expedited Logistics Coordinator

• Manage urgent and time-critical freight shipments from pickup through delivery
• Source and secure qualified carriers to meet customer requirements
• Track shipments proactively and provide real-time updates
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, carriers, and internal teams
• Respond quickly to issues, delays, and changing shipment needs
• Negotiate rates and secure transportation capacity
• Build and maintain strong carrier and customer relationships
• Coordinate specialized transportation solutions including team drivers, sprinter vans, cargo vans, straight trucks, and hot shot services
• Ensure accurate shipment documentation and system updates
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where priorities can change rapidly

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
• At least 1 year of logistics experience, preferably expedited freight
• Strong communication and phone skills
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Detail oriented, high sense of urgency, and customer service mindset
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven
