WhatĀ youāllĀ do:Ā
Troubleshoot machine downtime and perform overall machineĀ assessments, andĀ provide recommendations for repair or improved productivity.Ā
Perform new machine start-up inspections and operations training.Ā
Oversee onsite parts removal,Ā installationĀ and assembly.Ā
Recommend parts and service solutions to improve machine uptime,Ā maintenanceĀ and operation.Ā
Provide written post-visit reports with a visit overview, observations, recommendations, and accompanying quote for recommended parts.Ā
Based on field observations and customer feedback,Ā provideĀ Rotex Engineering with equipment design and feature recommendations.Ā
Maintain a reasonable āon-callā status to answer customer questions via phone and email.Ā
Perform other assignments or dutiesĀ appropriate toĀ the overall responsibility of the position of Field Service Engineer.Ā
AssistĀ in developing department documents, standards, andĀ processesĀ as necessary.Ā

Basic Requirements:Ā
Associateās Degree in EngineeringĀ or related field; orĀ 1-2Ā years related mechanical engineering/maintenance/field service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ā
Ability to travelĀ 50-75%Ā of the time.Ā
Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word,Ā PowerPoint, andĀ Excel, and Outlook.Ā
Great to Haves:Ā
Experience withĀ Microsoft CRM preferredĀ
Basic knowledge ofĀ SolidworksĀ (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) or similar platforms preferredĀ
