Location: Good Sam Hospital, 375 Dixmyth Ave Cincinnati, OH 45220

 Work Schedule: 

  • Full-Time (40 hours weekly) 
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for answering, handling and screening incoming telephone calls; greeting and registering patients, filing and preparing charts. In addition, this position is responsible for check-out functions, including review of encounter form data, collection of co-payments, scheduling follow-up appointments; day-end reconciliation duties. Some locations also require this position to complete charge/receipt-entry and charge-receipt summaries for all office-related services and prepare daily bank deposits

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Degree (Required)
1 - 2 years experience in a related field (Required)

Job Responsibilities:

Collects co-pay or other payments from patient. Assists others as needed. 
Exhibits professional telephone techniques. Refers calls according to established guidelines. 
Greets patients, determines their needs and responds in courteous and professional manner 
Pulls and prepares charts for patient visits. 
Schedules patient appointments, makes reminder calls, registers new and updates patient information.
