Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Licensed HVAC Journeyman Technicians for projects located in or around Mercers, WV. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $38-$41/hour based on experience plus $125/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. Job Scope:

Installing and routing copper refrigerant piping systems
Brazing and pressure-test piping connections
Assisting with HVAC equipment installations and system startup activities
Reading blueprints and coordinating installations with the project team
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards

Requirements:

Valid West Virginia HVAC License (required)
Proven experience installing and brazing copper refrigerant piping in commercial construction environments
Ability to braze copper pipe ranging from 3/8" to 2-1/8" using an oxy/acetylene torch and 15% silver brazing rods
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and mechanical drawings
Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, safety procedures, and code requirements
Must provide own HVAC tools and PPE
