Known for its central wood-burning oven, the restaurant serves Neapolitan-style pizzas, handmade pasta, and high-quality Italian ingredients, emphasizing a "no pretentiousness" dining experience. We are currently looking for a talented, enthusiastic pizza chef to join our team.  Pizza Chef responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, slicing, and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats and executing customers’ orders considering special requests. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various pizza types and be available to handle high volume.   Duties and Responsibilities:  • Prepare pizzas from the menu and based on custom orders  • Prep ingredients and execute house recipes  • Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed  • Use authentic Italian ingredients  • Preparing focaccia and bread baskets  • Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment  • Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and woodfire oven  • Understanding of food hygiene Benefits: 70% company covered Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance for full time employees. 100% covered Life Insurance and STD for full time employees. 401k with 3% match after one year of employment.  Schedule: No lunches, late nights, or Sundays (Except Easter and Mother's Day Brunch) QualificationsKey Requirements & Skills Experience: Previous experience as a pizza maker, line cook, or in a similar food service role. Technical Skills: Ability to hand-stretch dough, prepare ingredients, and manage ovens. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects like flour bags or pizza crates. Personality: Must have a positive attitude and be able to interact with guests in an open kitchen setting.  Flexibility: Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
