General Job Description

Job Summary

The Project Manager Intern assists with planning, coordination, and execution of electrical installations for new residential construction projects. This role supports project managers and field teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while gaining hands-on experience in construction project management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Support workforce planning, scheduling, and jobsite coordination.

  • Maintain project documentation, safety reports, and jobsite paperwork.

  • Participate in jobsite inspections to help ensure quality and code compliance.

  • Track material deliveries and assist with RFIs/RFQs.

  • Attend jobsite and production meetings.

  • Support onboarding and training initiatives.

  • Promote OSHA and company safety standards.

Specific Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with clear driving record required.

  • Must pass background and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

  • Walk job sites for extended periods; stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders.

  • Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.

  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment

Combination of office and construction job sites with exposure to typical construction conditions (noise, dust, heights). PPE required on job sites.
