We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Tech Lead to support CNC machining operations. This role is responsible for inspecting machined parts, verifying dimensions, and ensuring all components meet strict quality and GD&T specifications. The Quality Tech Lead will guide inspection workflows, support operators, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. . 


Primary Job Duties: 

  • Complete designated inspections and record results in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process non-conforming material reports
  • Operate and program CMM equipment using PC-DMIS
  • Support production personnel quality questions and initiatives
  • Lead and participate in the calibration program
  • Lead and verify daily maintenance and 5S standards
  • Communicate work status to team members
  • Mentor and oversee quality technicians.
  • Interface with customers for certification packages and other inspection      information.
  • Prepare and submit monthly metric reports.
  • Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance.
  • Any specifically assigned task.
  

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 

  • Must be able to communicate and convey information to others.
  • Must be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform tasks.
  • Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays,      and/or unexpected events during the work shift.
  • Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against      production documentation and customer specifications.
  • Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner.
  • Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics.
  • Ability to prepare basic communication and reports.
  • Advanced blueprint reading.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Ability to use calibration tooling.
  • Microsoft office software.
  • Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.
  • CMM programming knowledge
  • Oasis programming knowledge is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Discus


Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 25lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.
  • Must be able to work with oils/coolants
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment
  • Must be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of time
