Job Summary: The Recruiter will be responsible for assisting supervisory staff in developing, managing, and executing a full cycle talent and recruitment strategy aligned with organizational and business unit goals.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruiting
- Assist management in the development and maintenance of written job descriptions and compensation packages for all positions
- Attract highly qualified candidates through creative recruiting, including social media, community outreach, job boards, and networking through various trade/professional organizations related to the safety industry
- Source, qualify, and interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills
- Communicate with candidates on the status of their application for employment
- Collect, analyze, and report on statistical data as it relates to the Company's recruiting practices
- Oversee onboarding process for new employees, including reference and background checks as well as conducting new hire orientation
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including a professional and diplomatic demeanor with a high degree of confidentiality
- Must be proactive, self-directed, and highly organized
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of HR recruiting software preferred
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of Recruiting/Human Resource experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or similar field
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
