As a Regional Occupational Therapist at Applied Behavioral Services, you will help students build fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills that promote independence and participation in learning. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to design individualized strategies that support each student’s success.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and an active Ohio license
Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience, including one year with children
Strong understanding of sensory integration and motor development
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to meeting documentation and compliance deadlines
What You’ll Do
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals to improve fine and sensory motor skills
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to assigned students
Track and report student progress through documentation and progress notes
Collaborate with school staff and families to promote carryover of therapy goals
Maintain therapy materials and ensure timely, compliant reporting
