At HGC Construction, we’re not just building structures—we’re building a legacy of quality, integrity, and purpose.   JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project teams. Collaborate with Preconstruction during bidding, subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope review. Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Oversee project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, procurement logs, and project records using Procore and other project management tools. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to support successful project execution. Ensure compliance with Owner Contracts, company policies, and all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and site-specific safety requirements. Support business development efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Strong knowledge of construction practices, contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and other construction management software. Fit to Work / OSHA 30 certification.
