Solid Works Designer

Location: In-person (Ohio)

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Solid Works Designer to design automation machines and special metalworking machinery (including chamfering machines) from concept to completion, as well as modify existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complete automation work cells and custom metalworking machines utilizing CNC lathes and mills.

• Perform design calculations (loads, torque, stress, deflection, etc.) to ensure structural integrity.

• Create new designs, design modifications, and layouts.

• Collaborate with customers on quoting and project management.

• Provide sales support as needed.

You will enjoy full visibility of your projects, as all design, manufacturing, assembly, programming, and wiring is completed in-house.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of SolidWorks experience (required).

• Strong mechanical design background in machine elements, weldments, sheet metal, and automation systems.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven ability to develop creative solutions and implement new technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
