Full Time Night Shift - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital

 

Location: 

10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242

 

Work Schedule: 

  • Full Time Nights - (72 hours bi-weekly)
  • 6:30pm - 7:00am 
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
  • Holiday rotation 

 

The 8300 Medical-Surgical Oncology Unit at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is a 44-bed unit that cares for a diverse patient population with medical-surgical needs including cardiothoracic,  abdominal, vascular, gastrointestinal, women’s health, surgeries and surgical oncology patients. Our unit provides a supportive learning environment for both new graduates and experienced nurses, offering the chance to master advanced clinical skills, such as the care of cardiothoracic surgical patients, chest tubes, and patients undergoing oncology or vascular treatments. Nurses on this unit develop significant expertise in cancer care, surgical oncology, and managing complex conditions related to acute and chronic vascular diseases. In addition to handling advanced medical equipment and tools essential for cancer treatment, the 8300 team is committed to continuous professional growth. We are affiliated with renowned organizations, including the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, the Oncology Nursing Society, Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing, the American Cancer Society, and the American Nurses Association. Nurses are encouraged to pursue certifications in Medical-Surgical Nursing, GERO-BC, palliative care, and the ONS Chemotherapy Certification, further enhancing their skills in providing comprehensive, compassionate care. The 8300 unit combines a rich educational environment with a focus on patient-centered care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

  • Maintains proficiency in unit‑specific computer applications and equipment operations.
