Chaplain Resident. Full Time, First Shift 

The Chaplain Resident will serve as a member of the healthcare team, contributing to holistic, patient- and family-centered care with an understanding of spiritual perspectives and their impact on coping, medical decision-making, and health outcomes. As a supervised, learning member of the Spiritual Care team, the Chaplain Resident will be sensitive to a variety of faiths and religious practices to ensure that competent, religiously appropriate Spiritual Care is provided. The Chaplain Resident will also develop learning goals consistent with the outcomes of Level I and Level II CPE, as outlined in the ACPE Standards.

This is a hybrid position in which the Resident will complete clinical hours at UCMC and complete CPE education at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, which is ACPE-accredited.
