This person’s main responsibilities will include the lead development and sale of new AutoStore projects. In close cooperation with marketing and business development, this person will maintain a robust sales funnel by managing and qualifying new leads obtained through the following sales channels: existing Kardex Group clients looking for integrated solutions (AutoStore, LG conveyor, etc.), inbound leads from AutoStore and/or other partners, tradeshow leads, leads generated by the Business Development Team and contacts in their own personal logistics/ supply chain network.

  • Works as the voice of the client while working withĀ our internal teamĀ and works as the voice of theĀ internalĀ team while interacting with the client. Works well with others!Ā 

  • DiligentĀ toĀ aĀ sales process and ensures all interactions with the clientĀ are trackedĀ in Salesforce, not because the company says so, but because the person sees the value in the process!Ā 

  • Dedicated to the negotiation process with the client to ensure that all parties are setup for project success.Ā 

  • Agrees that aĀ standard solutionĀ more often than not meets the needs of ourĀ clientsĀ and custom/complex solutions should be the outlier, not the norm.Ā Ā 

  • CloseĀ deals!!Ā It’sĀ easy to dabble inĀ aĀ sales process, but closingĀ deal isĀ more fun and drives our growth.Ā 

AdditionalĀ responsibilities:Ā 

  • AssistsĀ in development of standard solutions, sales tools and processesĀ that serve our clients betterĀ 

  • Keeps an ā€œear to the groundā€ on the industry to help navigate the companyĀ on industry trendsĀ 

This personĀ is highly motivated to work in a startup environment and is openĀ forĀ a wide range of tasks atĀ different locations.Ā 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Ā BusinessĀ Administration,Ā orĀ similar fieldĀ preferred. Candidates with other degrees or no degree will be evaluatedĀ according toĀ previousĀ industry experience.Ā Ā 

5+ years’ experience with sales and consultingĀ and/or design engineering in the intralogistics industry.Ā

Proven portfolio ofĀ soldĀ projectsĀ within the intralogistics industryĀ 

Experience with sales, consulting,Ā projectĀ and team managementĀ 

Your profile

  • Market overview and identification of market potential, industry trends, etc.Ā 

  • Works closely withĀ business development inĀ qualifyingĀ newly generatedĀ clientĀ leadsĀ 

  • Initiation and development of newĀ clientĀ relationshipsĀ withĀ decision makersĀ 

  • Prioritizes traveling to the client’s site to build relationships and to understand theirĀ businessĀ 

  • Qualification of active leads/ opportunitiesĀ in order toĀ prioritizeĀ accordinglyĀ Ā 

  • Sales of AutoStore solutionsĀ -Ā lead the sales phase fromĀ lead handoverĀ untilĀ contractĀ 

  • Assessment ofĀ clientĀ existingĀ operations toĀ identifyĀ areas of opportunity/ businessĀ caseĀ 

  • Creation ofĀ optimalĀ solution that deliverĀ clientĀ benefit/ return onĀ investmentĀ 

  • Stays involved as a support resource during the project realizationĀ phaseĀ 

  • Internally leads the budget costing and fixed price proposal process for on-time delivery toĀ clientĀ 

  • Support the development of standard solutions (e.g.Ā g-t-robot picking) to differentiateĀ Ā 

  • Introduce / improve templates (presentation, offer documents) and sales processesĀ 

  • Support new colleagues at other locationsĀ across the globe as neededĀ
