This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned promptly and efficiently to support the smooth operation of our culinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. - Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. - Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling materials. - Monitor dishwashing supplies and report any inventory needs to the supervisor. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient cleaning during peak hours. - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety. - Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Experience: - Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is advantageous - Familiarity with standard kitchen safety and sanitation procedures Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely - Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met - Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks - Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff - Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices
