JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Medication Orders -Â Performs unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses. Non-sterile, non-hazard dose preparation for first fill or cartfill including preparation of oral syringes from liquid dosage forms. Delivery of patient specific doses. Prepare and perform ADC replenishment.
Compounding -Â Compounds non-sterile, non-hazardous medications.
Phone Triage -Â Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
Medical Claims -Â Performs insurance adjudication.
Inventory Management -Â Performs medication storage inspections. Interact with pharmacy automated dispensing machines and hospital computer systems as necessary.
JOB QUALIFICIATIONS
**Must be able to train on day/second shifts before moving to third shift assignment.
High school diploma or equivalent
Active registration with the OH Board of Pharmacy
Must be PTCB certified and OH Board of Pharmacy certified within 18 months of hire.
ASHP accredited program graduate OR licensed as a Pharmacy Intern OR 6 months of pharmacy related experience
