***Note: This position is based in our Sharonville, OH headquarters***

Leads the management and growth of our Food & Life Sciences business. Responsible for aligning product offerings with market opportunities, customer needs, and the company’s long-term growth strategy. Develop and execute sustainable margin growth for the Food & Life Sciences portfolio.

Portfolio Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and execute a multi-year product portfolio strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals.

  • Lead lifecycle management for existing products—including margin expansion, rationalization, and innovation needs.

  • Identify and evaluate portfolio gaps and expansion opportunities through market analysis, voice of customer, and competitive intelligence.

 

Innovation & New Product Development:

  • Partner with R&D, marketing, and commercial teams to drive a robust innovation pipeline.

  • Define and prioritize new product initiatives based on customer demand, technical feasibility, and financial return.

  • Oversee business cases for new product introductions and product enhancements.

 

Commercial & Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure successful commercialization and go-to-market execution.

  • Act as the voice of the portfolio in commercial strategy discussions, pricing optimization, and demand planning processes.

  • Ensure customer feedback and market trends are translated into actionable product plans.

 

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs such as revenue, margin, market share, and product vitality index.

  • Lead periodic reviews and make strategic decisions on resource allocation, and investment.

  • Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes, tools, and governance.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA or advanced business degree preferred. 

  • 10+ years of experience in specialty chemicals, including at least 5 years in portfolio, product management, or marketing leadership roles. 

  • Proven track record of driving portfolio growth, new product commercialization, and market share expansion. 

  • Strong business acumen with ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution. 

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

  • Comfortable operating in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
