Job Summary

Partnering with a full-time Clinical Support Specialist, this role delivers clinical support and training for the sales team, particularly through our benchmarking program. The Clinical Support Specialist (per diem) will serve as a clinical/technical expert on all ZOLL products and act as a dedicated resource to the assigned business unit (Hospital or EMS). In addition, this position may assist the Clinical Manager with the development and execution of initiatives tailored to that specific business unit. Responsibilities may also include drafting clinical documents and training sales representatives on resuscitation products and practices.

Essential Functions

• Conduct all aspects of the benchmarking program for resuscitation outcomes improvement to assigned business unit.

• Act as clinical/technical product expert on all ZOLL products, serving as a reference, resource, and educator for sales personnel to assigned business unit.

• Service as a clinical expert as it relates to resuscitation, including, but not limited to, AHA guidelines, clinical practice and translational research.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• · Bachelor's Degree BS/BA in Business, Health Care or related field required RN, Paramedic, or RRT with minimum of 3+ years of experience in the critical or emergency care setting

• Experience educating Health Care Providers required

• 2+ years of experience in health care industry required

• ACLS/PALS certification, instructor level preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills

• Technical savvy with electronic media, computer skills.

• Experience with resuscitation and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Travel Requirements

• Travel is required on an as-needed basis to support clinical programs within the assigned business unit. Travel frequency is dependent on clinical program demand and scheduling.
