As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers. From preventative maintenance to advanced diagnostics and repairs, you will play a key role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Conduct detailed inspections to identify existing or potential mechanical issues
Utilize diagnostic software, tools, and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Maintain accurate and detailed repair and maintenance documentation
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and maintenance needs
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to company standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within the transportation or fleet industry
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems
Experience using diagnostic software and repair equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Overtime available and paid after 40 hours
