Job DetailsJob Location: Citrus Heights, CA 95621Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyBarback Primary Function         To support Food and Beverage staff in alignment with the company’s mission and core values.   Essential Responsibilities All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures, Safety Regulations and other legal regulations and requirements (California Health & Safety Code, Division 104, Part 7 - Retail Food).  Essential responsibilities include the following. Please note that additional duties may be assigned at a future date:   Follow safe California Food Handlers guidelines. Restock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, storage rooms, coolers, and service stations. Remove empty bottles, trash, glassware, and recycling promptly and safely. Wash and polish glassware, utensils, and bar equipment. This requires the use of chemicals, which must be used/handled in accordance with the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for each chemical. Refill ice bins and transport kegs, cases, and inventory as needed. Assist bartenders with preparation of garnishes, syrups, juices, and other bar ingredients. Ensure adequate inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of shortages. Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Support opening, closing, and side-work procedures. Provide quick, efficient support in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and teamwork. Provide a fun, superior gaming and dining experience by establishing and maintaining a good rapport with guests to promote continued patronage. Report unsafe practices or hazardous conditions to the Restaurant Manager, Security or Restaurant Manager. Report to CSM or Security any individuals in the casino who appear to be underage, intoxicated, whose conduct appears to be illegal, or who poses a threat to the Company's operations. Attend annual BSA/AML training, as scheduled.  QualificationsQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 6 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.   Language Skills:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.   Mathematical Skills:  Basic math skills.  Ability to accurately calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in an efficient manner.   Reasoning Ability:  The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   Conditions of Employment This job has conditions of employment essential to the position that include: Must be able successfully pass a thorough background check from the City of Chula Vista in order to obtain a Gaming License Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to the city’s requirements Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a current Food Handler’s Card Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a current Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Certification   Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
