Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a Delivery Assurance Specialist to join our team in the DC metro area. The Delivery Assurance Specialist is a multifaceted role that is focused on proactively assessing the health of projects, triaging risks, and issues, and contributing to the professional development and enablement of our corps of project management professionals. A successful will be a strong communicator who is proactive, detail oriented, and one who is comfortable collaborating across organizational teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate monthly Project Management Reviews (PMRs)
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of project health dimensions including financials, staffing, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage risks and mitigate issues in one or more project health dimensions including: financials, staffing, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Proactively identify and correct data quality issues in one or more project health dimensions including: financials, staffing, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to develop and mature project management practices and professionals, develop and ultimately delivery on recommendations
  • Contribute to the maturation of our library of project management best practices, including the development and delivery of training

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, analytics or similar field
  • 5 years of experience in a formal Project Manager role
    • Day-to-day project management responsibilities to include client management, staff/people management, finances, contracts/subcontracts management
    • Experience delivering both Time and Materials (T&M) contracts and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts
    • Experience managing a minimum of two projects for over one year, each valued at a minimum of $1M in annual revenue
  • 3 years of experience leading cross functional Quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (writing samples may be requested)
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a complex, fast paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Analytical abilities characterized by strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment and structured decision making
  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience with Microsoft Excel to include PivotTables and other charting functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Pay Transparency:

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is Min: $90k to $120K

This role may be eligible for other compensation, including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.

The amount and availability of any bonus, commission or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion, consistent with the law
