What you will be doing
As a Production Worker at our milk/culture production facility, you will be involved in various stages of the milk/cultured processing and packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, and ensuring that all products meet our strict standards for safety and freshness. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety regulations, and collaborating with your team to meet production goals. Your role is essential in delivering high-quality milk/cultures products to consumers every day.
The position will be based in Clackamas, Oregon.
Main responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth packaging of milk or cultured products.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet safety and freshness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to maintenance and supervisors promptly.
- Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and report discrepancies.
What we are searching for.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
