PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Student Success Manager provides enrollment, transition, and ongoing assistance to prospective and current students across graduate, undergraduate, and certificate programs. This position ensures student success through every phase of the student lifecycle, including recruitment, enrollment, academic progress, and graduation. Working independently and in partnership across departments, the manager promotes a high-touch, proactive, student-first approach from inquiry to graduation.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Travel on behalf of the College for recruitment and other college-related events if/when needed; Serve as a point of contact and maintain a personal relationship with prospective and current students through structured and frequent communication. Provide high-level student services and advising to promote retention, satisfaction, and completion. Counsel prospective and current students on admissions, academic policies, registration, financial aid processes, and other key procedures. Coordinate student enrollment and matriculation processes, including verification of records and transcript processing. Facilitate or assist orientation programming and online learning transitions. Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective and current students via phone, email, and chat. Support early alerts and outreach efforts to at-risk students using predictive analytics, performance data, and other tools. Track student communications and actions in CRM/SIS systems to aid student engagement and service delivery. Process applications, verify documents, compute GPAs, track academic progress, and manage degree audits. Partner with faculty and academic advisors to align student needs with academic resources. Assist in development and implementation of communication and engagement plans. Support reporting and data-driven planning for recruitment, retention, and student success initiatives. Maintain FERPA compliance and manage protected student data with confidentiality. Assist with campus and virtual events, including occasional evenings/weekends. Continuously improve student service strategies in partnership with Enrollment Services, Student Financial Services, and Academic Affairs. QualificationsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in academic advising, enrollment services, or student support in higher education. U.S. Citizen, or legally authorized to work in the United States with no need for future sponsorship. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Demonstrated dedication to superior customer service and student-centered support. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and Student Information Systems (SIS). Knowledge of FERPA regulations and student confidentiality practices. Experience with adult learners and online education models. Team-oriented mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. High degree of professionalism, empathy, and cultural competency.
