Job DetailsJob Location: 9795 County Rd - Clarence Center, NY 14032Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $23.00 - $30.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: Local Travel to JobsiteJob Category: Skilled Labor - TradesAs a Mason Tender you will support the job by staying stay two steps ahead of the masons so the "brickies" never have to stop laying.  Job duties include but not limited to: Support masons and keep work area stocked Unloading pallets of brick, block and/or stone Maintain a clean work environment Cleaning finished work surface: including but not limited to power washing, scrubbing Learn to cut bricks as needed for corners, arches and complex patterns Prepares surfaces for laying brick, block, or stone Keeping mortar temped on the board Cut and provide rebar as needed Assemble/Disassemble scaffold to meet safety and job requirements (learn tag safety) Assists masons with installation of wall ties, flashings and papers to job specifications Jointing the wall Assisting with training new laborers to learn and understand job responsibilities What we offer: Full time permanent position with year round work (40+hrs a week) Career growth and ability to learn from experienced professionals Skills training, safety training, and company lunches Benefits: PTO, Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401k with match. QualificationsRequirements: 2 or more years experience supporting and helping Masons on the job. Experience with preparing & cleaning job sites, transporting materials including brick, block and/or stone, mixing mortar, maintaining tools, build / take down scaffolding, and sawing. Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Experience working in various conditions, including wet, cold, heat, rapidly changing environments, near moving mechanical parts, at heights, and in outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work with other Tenders, Laborers, and Masons. Vehicle and valid drivers’ license.
