As a Utility Operator at Valmet, you will work to repair and rebuild mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry. Having a strong mechanical aptitude will ensure success for this position.

Primary duties will include:

Operate mechanical grinding, drilling, and balancing machines.

Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment.

Record parts and materials used as well as prepare time and production records as required.

Read blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.

Starting pay rate for 1st Shift = $28.39

Expectations

To excel in the role, you should possess a strong mechanical aptitude coupled with a solid understanding of the business environment.  You balance a desire to support and work closely with customers along with your passion for development of cutting-edge products.

To succeed in this role, you will need

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with strong mechanical aptitude.
