Job DetailsJob Location: Highland- Clarksburg Hospital - Clarksburg, WV 26301Highland-Clarksburg Hospital MAINTENANCE TECH Job Description JOB SUMMARY:   Individual will assist in the maintenance of the hospital facilities to ensure a safe environment in adherence to established Hospital, federal, state, local and JCAHO rules, regulations and policies. Reports to the Director of Facilities and Plant Operations-Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists with the overall facility maintenance of the Hospital facilities. Identifies and assists with preventative maintenance activities. Works with external contractors as requested. Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment. Assists with facility maintenance and safety records.   ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Participates and assists with staff development activities. Serves on teams and committees as assigned. Other related duties as assigned.  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Education and Experience: High school diploma, GED, or work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Valid West Virginia driver’s license required.
