Job DetailsJob Location: Highland- Clarksburg Hospital - Clarksburg, WV 26301Highland-Clarksburg Hospital MAINTENANCE TECH Job Description JOB SUMMARY:   Individual will assist in the maintenance of the hospital facilities to ensure a safe environment in adherence to established Hospital, federal, state, local and JCAHO rules, regulations and policies. Reports to the Director of Facilities and Plant Operations-Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists with the overall facility maintenance of the Hospital facilities. Identifies and assists with preventative maintenance activities. Works with external contractors as requested. Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment. Assists with facility maintenance and safety records.   ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Participates and assists with staff development activities. Serves on teams and committees as assigned. Other related duties as assigned.  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. May be required to obtain a GED within six months of hire. Associates degree or college course work preferred.  Prior experience and training in maintenance related area(s) preferred.   Language Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables as needed. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Valid West Virginia driver’s license required.
