Job Title: Human Resources Recruiter
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: On-Site, Clarksville


The HR Recruiter will provide support to the Human Resources department and the facility through involvement in full-cycle recruiting and HRIS data entry for new hires across various roles within the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with candidates, collaborating with hiring leaders, and creating a positive hiring experience from first contact through onboarding.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Successfully assess candidates to determine best fit for open positions
  • Provide recruitment reports to the HR team and other affected departments
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews and attend all on-site interviews
  • Use various outlets to promote company jobs and source candidates, including social media, job boards, networking opportunities, and job fairs
  • Complete initial candidate documentation and provide necessary pre-employment information to candidates
  • Work closely with the HR team and management to determine job specifications, staffing needs, and hiring priorities
  • Communicate employment offers to candidates and report candidate communications regarding offers to the HR team in an effective and timely manner
  • Create and maintain a productive and successful candidate pipeline and recruiting funnel
  • Establish a presence in production areas to gain understanding of various positions and job functions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education & Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field or equivalent experience, required
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, required
  • Recruiting experience within a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Experience working for a manufacturing facility preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Previous experience with ADP desired

  • Experience developing successful staffing strategies and recruiting action plans
  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Physical Demands

Physical demands may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, office environments, and production areas, and occasionally ascend or descend stairs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery
  • Must be able to position self to file documents, including reaching top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
  • Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in production areas

Travel

Some local travel will be required to attend hiring events.
