Job DetailsJob Location: Claxton, GA 30417Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeJob Shift: DayJob Category: Health CarePosition Description: Under the general supervision of the Rehab Director, the Occupational Therapist provides service to mentally and/or physically impaired patients including assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication, for hospital in-patients and hospital out-patients. The Occupational Therapist also directs patient participation and selected tasks to restore and enhance performance and facilitate the learning of those skills to promote functional independence.QualificationsMinimal Qualifications: 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the state of Georgia to practice Occupational Therapy. 2. Must be able to move from facility to facility intermittently throughout the day. 3. Ability to maintain good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, management, and customers. 4. Must have the ability to work independently and organize several projects. 5. Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner. 6. Must be Modality Certified. Physical/Mental Demands 1. Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk, and bend intermittently throughout workday, and lift a minimum of 25% of ideal body weight. 2. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. 3. Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned.
